Carly Kutsup has been teaching Television Broadcasting and Digital Media since September 2006. Her TV background includes majoring in Television Communications/Broadcast Journalism at William Paterson University in Wayne, NJ. Prior to graduating from William Paterson she completed an internship at both MTV Networks and FUSE in Manhattan. After graduation she worked at Fuse as a freelancer for 4 months, then began her teaching career in September 2006 while continuing to freelance in the industry on the side. She received her Master of Science: Education Technology degree at Ramapo College of New Jersey in 2012.

In August 2008, she completed the Beauty Makeup Artistry course at The Makeup Designory in Soho, NYC and has used her techniques and skills for school productions as well as freelance work.

In May of 2013, Ms. Kutsup became an Associate Member of the NY NATAS (National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences),which is a professional service organization dedicated to the advancement of the arts and sciences of television and the promotion of creative leadership for artistic, educational and technical achievements within the television industry. In August 2018, she became a peer judge for the chapter.

In October of 2014, she became a member of the Paley Center for Media, which has locations in New York and Los Angeles. The center leads the discussion about the cultural, creative, and social significance of television, radio, and emerging platforms for the professional community and media-interested public.
