B.A. Van Sise
An accomplished travel and editorial portrait photographer, Van Sise's assignments take him to more than forty countries yearly. His work has appeared in the New York Times, the Daily Mirror of London, Arthur Frommer's Travel Guides, Time Out New York, the New York Daily News, Newsday, the Dallas Morning News, and the Orlando Sun-Sentinel. Commercial clients include the United Nations, America Online, Ford, Spike TV, Suicide Girls, Budweiser, Berlitz, Nike, Ciroc and Kay Jewelers. He is a graduate of the prestigious Eddie Adams Workshop and a National Press Photographer's Association and University of Missouri award-winner. In addition to shooting, he is a co-founder of The Chapter Media and a consultant for the U.K.-based media giant Daily Mail Group.
He holds one degree from Fordham University for Visual Arts and another for Modern Languages: a polyglot, he is fluent or conversational in English, Italian, Spanish, French, German and Russian, with some Hebrew and Arabic as well.
In his free time, he is a certified yacht skipper, a licensed pilot and a lieutenant in the New York National Guard.
