Freelance Photographer, Eugene Tanner Photography
I’m a freelance photographer based in Honolulu, Hawaii. I was born in Los Angeles, California but raised on the island of Maui. After completing high school I went on to attend Oregon State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science, Liberal Arts degree majoring in Technical Journalism and a minor in Life Sciences.

They are the Los Angeles Times, The Seattle Times, The Boulder Daily Camera, The Maui News, The Corvallis Gazette-Times, The Honolulu Advertiser and The Orange County Register. I use Canon photography equipment. The digital cameras I use are the Canon EOS-1D Mark IV. The lenses I have range from the Canon EF 14mm f/2.8L, 24mm f/1.4L, 16-35mm f/2.8L II, 70-200mm f/2.8L II, 300mm f/2.8L IS to a 400mm f/2.8L IS. My computer is a MacBook Pro with an air card which allows me to send photos from virtually anywhere as long as I can get a cell phone signal. I have the experience to cover a just about any news story and sporting event. I do have a Passport and can travel abroad.
