Victoria Blount joined Fox 5 News Atlanta as a photojournalist in the summer of 2003. Victoria arrived at Fox 5 News from WTVD-ABC Raleigh, North Carolina where she had worked for more than two years. Victoria started her news career as an early morning editor for Fox 6 News Milwaukee, WI where she would later return to work as a photojournalist. Victoria's first photojournalist opportunity came in the cold and snowy country of Green Bay, WI with WGBA NBC where she covered stories involving the Green Bay Packers and the often extreme weather. Victoria remembers the days she had to wear three layers of clothing just to try to stay warm during her bone chilling live shots.

Victoria has covered some very large new stories in her five year career, including American Idol 2 in Hollywood, CA, President George W. Bush and his frequent visits with the troops in North Carolina and The Michael Peterson Murder Trial. Victoria received a Bachelors Degree in Mass Communications with an emphasis on Political Science, from The University of Wisconsin Milwaukee. Victoria is also currently pursing her Masters Degree in Atlanta with big goals and dreams for the future. Victoria lives in Atlanta Georgia with her husband and enjoys the warmer weather Georgia has to offer compared to her native Wisconsin. In her free time Victoria enjoys running, scrap booking and volunteering at a local animal shelter.
