NPPA 47th Flying Short Course

October 2004
[At Abu Ghraib Cemetery just outside Baghdad, families from all over Iraq are coming to unearth the bones of their relatives who were tortured and killed by Saddam Hussein's regime. Mohammad Bakar Whathiq lovingly kisses the skull of his brother Brer Bakar Whathiq at Abu Ghraib Cemetery. Brer was arrested in October 1993 for opposing the regime.

Flight Plans

The NPPA Flying Short Course provides an unparalleled opportunity for television, still, and online visual journalists to see the latest gear, meet colleagues, and learn from great speakers. This premier event is a chance to celebrate who we are and the best of what we do — it is what the Flying Short Course has been doing since 1958. Admission price for NPPA members is $60, for non-members is $75, and for students is $30.

Make it a part of your October plans.
