is the winner of the 2003 Cliff Edom's New America Award from the Best of Photojournalism contest. Jamie is a staff photographer at the St. Petersburg Times. He has had the opportunity to travel to major news events around the world, but finds much of his success (to paraphrase the Cliff Edom award) in grassroots community journalism where we see the spirit and celebration of everyday life. Francis has had a regular photo colum at two different newspapers where he explored his community through words and pictures.
