Jeff Imperial

Jeff Imperial is the Manager of Television for Jaguars Productions. The in-house television broadcast department of the NFL's Jacksonville Jaguars. The Jaguars were one of the initial NFL teams to create their own in-house TV broadcast department. Jaguars Productions is responsible for the four local weekly television shows: The Jack Del Rio, (coach & highlights) Show. The "Jaguars Weekend" Show, with a magazine/feature format. "THE Jaguars Show", a local spin-off of ESPN's PTI and the Jaguars Pre-Game Show, our lead into the game. Along with numerous hours of local programming during the NFL season, on WTEV, CBS Channel 47, and FOX 30 in Jacksonville, Florida.

Prior to his move to the NFL in September of '94, Jeff spent eight years at WTLV-NBC, in Jacksonville, where he was the Senior Photographer, responsible for the aesthetic quality and consistency of the on-air product of the news photographer staff, and the Special Projects Photographer at WTLV.

In 1992, Jeff first attended the NPPA Workshop where he was a "shoot & edit" participant in the Workshop exercises and received the Workshop's, "Best Editor" Award for outstanding participant. "To be chosen by the most renowned people of our profession, was a moment I will always treasure! That one week truly changed my life!" In 1994, Jeff joined the NPPA Workshop faculty where he shares the "passion" of storytelling! "I truly believe, without the Workshop experience I wouldn't be where I am today!"

A (transplanted) native of Florida, Jeff is a Telecommunications graduate of The University of Florida, 1996 Football National Champions. Jeff has garnered numerous awards: AP for Best Feature, an Axiem for Feature story, RTNDA's Edward R. Murrow Award-Bestseries/Large market, and six Suncoast EMMY's.

I am truly blessed! I have a beautiful family! A great gig (it's not a job)! I enjoy traveling and covering the NFL. I love sports and capturing storytelling moments, with words and pictures! Anyone can shoot sports and follow the ball! In documenting a sporting event, you only get one chance to capture the moment... the emotion... before its gone! "I have a burning passion for my craft, and I am crazy about football!"

NO EXCUSES! STAY COMITTED!
