John Gross
John Gross has done more than 300 network sports reports (network feeds) and his stories have been shown on the Today Show and Good Morning America. John was sports director at KXAS-TV in Dallas/Fort Worth for two years, and for twelve years he was a sports and feature reporter at WXYZ-TV in Detroit. He has won several awards including six UPI best in the state awards for sports reporting, two Detroit Emmys and two national best in the country awards for sports reporting. John is also a freelance ground cameraman for NFL Films. His footage is shown on all three networks, plus HBO's Inside The NFL. John is now working for KSTP-TV in St. Paul, Minnesota and last year the station was voted NPPA station of the year.
He is married and lives with his wife and two children in Lakeville, Minnesota. He also has a grown daughter and two adorable grandsons in Novi, Michigan.
