Greg Vandegrift
Greg Vandegrift has been a reporter for KARE 11 since October of 1996. Previous work experience as a reporter includes WQAD-TV in Moline, Illinois and KODE-TV in Joplin, Missouri.
Greg has won numerous awards while at KARE-11 including the Edward R. Murrow award in 2000 for Spot News Coverage. The National Association of Black Journalists also honored him for Sports Coverage in 2000.
He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Kansas.
Greg's hometown is Lakeville. Greg's hobbies include basketball, golf, and he is a Jayhawk Basketball fanatic. His wife, Jane is a pharmaceutical sales representative. They have four children; Collin, Nathan, and their version of the Minnesota Twins, Joel and Jacob.
