Craig White
Craig White, embedded NBC photojournalist with the 3rd ID battalion, brought us those amazing images live from an army tank as he and the late David Bloom raced towards Baghdad. Caught in a firefight under a bridge as the 3rd ID entered Baghdad, Craig captured some of the most dramatic images of the war in Iraq. Just the latest from a courageous NBC photojournalist.
He began his 32-year career with the NBC soap opera "Another World" and then moved to the News Division where his assignments have taken him around the world. He's scaled the heights of Mt. Everest and dove the depths of Victoria Falls bungee jumping in Africa with the Today Show as he worked all of the "Where in the World is Matt Lauer" trips. An avid climber, he was principal photographer on the international award winning "El Captain Climbers" documentary with Bob Dotson.
Craig shoots for Dateline, the Today Show, Nightly News, NBC news magazines and all the NBC cable divisions. He has two daughters with his lovely wife Karene.
