News headlines from NPPA.org are now available via an Atom 1.0 newsfeed. Here's how you can use them:
If you visit NPPA.org with Firefox, Opera or Safari, you already have Atom support on your computer. Click the name of your browser for instructions on how to use the Atom feed.
You can also access the NPPA feed using an online feed aggregator, such as Google Reader or RSS Reader. For a full list of news aggregators (both web-based and desktop), visit Wikipedia.
On the NPPA homepage, look for the orange feed icon in the Address Bar (Firefox version 1.5 and newer) or in the lower right-hand corner of the webpage (Firefox 1.0.7 and older). Click the feed icon to add the Atom feed as a live bookmark to your bookmarks or bookmarks toolbar folder. Putting the feed on the toolbar allows you to quickly access the newest stories via a drop-down menu.
On the NPPA home page, look for the blue RSS icon in the address bar. Clicking the icon will add the Atom feed to Opera's built-in reader. Once the feed has been added, you can visit the feed reader at any time by choosing "Feeds->National Press Photographers Association" from the menu bar.
