Call For NPPA National Officers

 

DURHAM, NC (January 10, 2012) – The National Press Photographers Association is still accepting nominations for national officers, NPPA national secretary Denise McGill reminds members.

NPPA's board of directors will meet January 21-22 at NPPA's headquarters in Durham, NC, and during the meeting the board will elect a president and vice president who will serve one-year terms. In even numbered years (such as 2012) the board also elects a national secretary for a two-year term.

Only board members may make nominations for national officers, but any board member may share the names of NPPA members who are interested in running or whose name has been put forth for consideration.

To be eligible for the offices, a candidate must be an NPPA professional member in good standing for at least one year prior to being nominated.
