NPPA Announces Event Tuition Grants

DURHAM, NC (January 25, 2012) – NPPA is now offering to professional still photographers some tuition grants for its 2012 line-up of educational programming.

NPPA is able to provide these scholarships through funds distributed by The Authors Coalition of America (ACA), which distributes money collected for copying non-title-specific works abroad. Due to ACA restrictions on the use of the funds, NPPA is only able to offer scholarships to professional still photographers living in the United States, and whose published work is reasonably capable of being reprographically reproduced (i.e. photocopied) abroad.

There are also, on a limited basis, some travel grants available to help cover additional expenses.

These grants are open to all still photographers, whether they are NPPA members or not.

Deadline for applications is 12:00 midnight EST on Monday, February 6, 2012.

Apply onlinehere.

All applicants will be notified about their application status on Friday, February 10, 2012.

Applicants with questions can write toinfo@nppa.org.
