Best Of Photojournalism Entry Deadline: This Friday!
DURHAM, NC (January 30, 2012) – NPPA's 2012 Best Of Photojournalism contest is still open for entries for one more week for the Still Photography, Photojournalism Editing, and Web Photojournalism contests.
The entry deadline is this Friday, February 3, at 3 p.m. EST.

The Contest Announcement released in December hasmore background and detailson how the Contest Committee reorganized this year's competition and descriptions of some new competition categories.
NPPA's Best Of Photojournalism Contest Committee is headed by Terry Eiler, the director of Ohio University's School of Visual Communication (VisCom). Within the Committee there are four groups who are responsible for overseeing the four Best Of Photojournalism competitions.
The Best Of Print Photojournalism group includes Eiler along with Sherman Williams of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel; Pulitzer Prize-winning photojournalist Deanne Fitzmaurice; Sports Illustrated photography editor James Colton; and ZUMA Press founder Scott Mc Kiernan.
The Best Of Television Photojournalism contest is overseen by Merry Murray of KSNW-TV in Wichita, KS. The Best Of Photojournalism Editing contest is overseen by Ohio University VisCom faculty member Stan Alost, and the Best Of Web Photojournalism contest is overseen by Regina McCombs of The Poynter Institute for Media Studies.
