DURHAM, NC (October 17, 2011) – NPPA national secretary Denise McGill has announced the names of the candidates for this November's upcoming election for two seats on the organization's board of directors.
Nominations for board seats closed on August 31.
After verification of eligibility by the secretary, the candidates are:
• Mark Dolan
• Todd Maisel
• James Michalowski
• Joe Cavaretta
• Scott Mc Kiernan
• Cliff Jette
• Merry Murray
The winners will take office on January 1, 2012, and they serve a three-year term.
The online election will take place during the entire month of November, with NPPA members logging into a secure and private voting process.
Very shortly candidates will be given space on the NPPA Web site to communicate their campaign platform with the electorate, McGill said, and members should watch for an announcement about their statements soon.
