Last Minute Openings For Chien-Chi Chang Photo Workshop

AUSTIN, TX (March 9, 2011) – At the last minute there are six openings left for a Chien-Chi Chang photojournalism workshop here in Austin at the University of Texas this coming weekend. Originally just for UT journalism students, the workshop is now open to anyone who would like to attend.

Chien-Chi Chang is a Magnum photographer who started in newspapers in the early 1990s after finishing a masters degree at Indiana University. He he won the W. Eugene Smith Grant for Humanistic Photography in 1999.

This two-day workshop offers an incredible opportunity for one-on-one learning from a respected Magnum photographer and there will be visual exercises, portfolio critiques, and multimedia discussions. The workshop will be held on campus at the University of Texas in Austin at the journalism department.
