Call For Entries: NPPA's 2011 Best Of Photojournalism Contest

 

 

DURHAM, NC (January 3, 2011) – The Call for Entries goes out to the world today for the National Press Photographers Association's 2011 Best Of Photojournalism competition, one of the world's largest photography contests.

This year Canon, a long-time Best Of Photojournalism sponsor, has donated three Canon PowerShot G12 cameras for the winners of three of the Still Photography division categories: Photojournalist of the Year (Larger Markets); Photojournalist of the Year (Smaller Markets); and Best of Show.

The rules and categories for NPPA's 2011 Best Of Photojournalism were posted online today here, and photojournalists and editors around the world can register to enter the contest online here. The contest has categories for still photographers, television photographers, photography editors, video editors, and Web sites.

The entry deadline for all categories is Friday, January 28, 2011.
