VENTURA, CA (July 23, 2008) – The closing reception of the Brooks Institute National Press Photographers Association's Student Chapter Top 20 Week in Pictures 2007 will be this Friday, July 25, 2008, at 6:30pm PST at the Ventura Campus (5301 N. Ventura Ave., Ventura, CA).
The reception is open to the public and free to attend.
The print exhibit has been up in the Ventura campus for the past few weeks and it will come down from the walls this Friday with the prints going to the winning bidders of a silent auction.
Each image is being auctioned to the highest bidder to raise funds for the Brooks student NPPA chapter. Located in NPPA's Region 10, it is the country's largest and most active student NPPA chapter.
All of the images can be seen in the Top 20 gallery on their Web site at http://www.brooksnppa.org.
