NPPA Resolutions Deadline

DURHAM, NC (April 14, 2008) – The deadline for proposed legislation in the form of NPPA board resolutions need to be submitted to NPPA resolutions chair Linda Angelle no later than April 25, 2008, NPPA national secretary Sean D. Elliot said.

Elliot reminds members that proposed changes to NPPA's bylaws require a 2/3 majority of a vote of the NPPA's board of directors to pass, while changes to the Standing Rules and Policies and Procedures sections of the association's governing documents require simple majority votes to pass.

The national secretary asks that anyone who wants to help draft a resolution, please feel free to contact the Resolutions chair at lindaang@sbcglobal.net or Elliot at secretary@nppa.org.
