Dead, Alive, Dead Again: MulitmediaShooter.com Gone (Again)

SAN JOSE, CA (April 3, 2008) - On March 10 it was hacked, gone, "down for the count," the owner said. Then on March 18, MultimediaShooter.com rose from the grave, alive again, rebuilt in a frenetic frenzy that was depicted in a video by the site's creator, Richard Koci Hernandez, the deputy director of photography and multimedia at the San Jose Mercury News.

Now this morning, it's dead again.

"MultimediaShooter is no longer being published," a message says today on the spot where the home page used to live.

"I'm walking away this time with my head held high. It's been fun. I'm closing the blog doors for good this time. There's not enough Jack Daniels or Red Bull to get me back this time," Hernandez wrote. "Sorry for on again off again nature of the blog lately. Thanks for the support through the hacks. This is a great time for me to step away from the blogosphere. Good Night and Good Luck, see you in the real world."
