DURHAM, NC (March 7, 2008) - NPPA's Honors & Recognition Committee has started accepting nominations for NPPA's annual service awards.
From now until March 24, 2008, an online nomination form makes it fast and easy to nominate individuals for the organization's honors. You can read about the awards and make choices before linking to the online form. Past winners can be reviewed by clicking on the award name, and a description will appear along with a list of past winners.
Honorees will be selected after the nomination period closes and the nominations are reviewed by the Honors & Recognition Committee. The panel is chaired by NPPA past president Alicia Wagner Calzada, along with other past presidents Clyde Mueller and Bob Gould.
Winners will be announced at the Sprague Banquet during the NPPA Convergence'08 in Louisville, KY, on May 31, 2008.
"Please take a few minutes to nominate a deserving colleague and support the tradition of honoring those who have served their profession," Calzada said.
