Multimediashooter Rises From The Grave
SAN JOSE, CA (March 18, 2008) - It might be fair for Richard Koci Hernandez to quote Mark Twain today, but only if he feels like uttering, "The reports of my death are greatly exaggerated."
Because after declaring his Web site Multimediashooter.com dead and buried in the aftermath of a hacker's destruction on March 9, the Web site has magically risen from the dead and come back to life today – and just in time for Easter too. The news of its return spread around the Internet after about 1,000 subscribers to the site's newsletter received notification.
The featured video at the bottom of the re-born Web site's home page is "How To Fix A Hack," which speaks for itself. For those who don't know Hernandez, the piece may seem to be running at high-speed in fast forward. For many of those who've met Hernandez, the deputy director of photography for multimedia at the San Jose Mercury News, the video may appear to be in real time.
