Eddie Adams's New Book & Upcoming 2008 Workshop

 

NEW YORK, NY (February 26, 2008) - The Eddie Adams Workshops are now accepting applications for the next session, which is scheduled for October 10 - 13, 2008, in Jeffersonville, NY.

The workshop is tuition-free. The 100 students selected are picked based on the merits of their portfolios.

Workshop producer Mirjam Evers says Barnstorm XXI's purpose is to create a forum in which an exchange of ideas, techniques, and philosophies can be shared between both established members and newcomers of the profession of visual journalism.

Also coming this year, in September just in time for the workshop, is Eddie Adams' new book "Eddie Adams: Vietnam." Published by Umbrage Editions, the book will include never-before-seen photographs by Adams, his field diaries, passports, and memoirs. Created by Eddie's wife, Alyssa Adams, the book includes essays about Adams and his work by author Hal Buell and other notable contributing editors.
