Entry Deadline Friday For 2007 Best Of Photojournalism Contest

 

 

DURHAM, NC (February 9, 2007) – The National Press Photographers Association reminds photojournalists that the deadline for entering the Best Of Photojournalism 2007 competition is 11:59 p.m Eastern Standard Time on Friday February 9.

The Television News division deadline for entries was on February 2. But entries will be accepted through 11:59 p.m. February 9 for the Still Photo, Photo Editing, and Web Site divisions.

The Best Of Photojournalism judges for all categories will be announced very soon on the NPPA Web site.

New rules and procedures, and instructions on how to enter are online here. The contest is open to both members and non members of the NPPA, and there is no fee to enter.

The Best Of Photojournalism 2007 is sponsored by Canon and Avid.

All entrants must obtain a Contest Identification Code to enter any division of the contest. The registration page can be found here.

“If you register for the contest and do not receive your confirmation email, please log in to the verification page here to get your contest ID number and other contest information,” BOP contest coordinator Thomas Kenniff said.
