Paris L. Gray, 44

WOODBURY, NJ (October 18, 2006) – Funeral services have been announced for photojournalist Paris L. Gray, 44, who died Sunday after a battle with cancer. Gray had been a photographer for the Courier-Post newspaper in Cherry Hill, NJ, for 12 years.

Friends at the newspaper said Gray lived a rich life outside his job that included playing jazz guitar and cycling.

He is survived by his wife, Gigi House-Gray, and a stepson, Marcus. A native of Baltimore, MD, he worked at The Philadelphia Tribune before joining the Courier-Post staff in 1994. At one time he also had a fine art photographic studio in Philadelphia. For several years he was an NPPA member.

A viewing will be held from 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 21, at the Stright-Line Church, 1055 North Broad Street, in Woodbury, NJ. Funeral services will follow at 2:30 p.m.
