Battle of Fallujah Photographer Frederic Lafargue joined the Marines in the in the battle of Fallujah which was intended to clear the city of radical insurgents including Al Qaeda mastermind Zarqawi thought to have been behind numerous terrorist attacks throughout Iraq. For close to a week, Lafargue photographed street to street battles amidst the confusion and noise of a fierce and deadly battle. Kilo Company of 3 rd Batalion 1st Marine Regiment combat Team 1.
