Connect and Volunteer!
As an organization of volunteers, NPPA relies heavily on the expertise, talent, energy, passion and enthusiasm of members. Like most volunteer-driven organizations, you get out of NPPA what you put into NPPA. Here are a number of ways — and levels — in which you can engage as a volunteer.
There are many ways to get involved!
- Offer to help with advocacy through letter campaigns.
- Participate in committee work.
- Run for national office.
- Learn valuable skills and meet great people by volunteering for regional events.
- Get inspired by helping to judge awards competitions from other regions.
- Volunteer as a clip chair for the Monthly Clip Contest.
- Offer to run your Regional Web site.
- Consider running as a Regional Chair or Associate Chair.
Help out at upcoming events:
- Volunteer at the registration table for one of our upcoming Business Blitz Workshops.
- Volunteer to help at the 2012 Northern Short Course in Fairfax, VA.
