Committees
The NPPA needs everyone to serve in some capacity. Special interests may need committee members, or just an extra hand. Find a place where you can participate, or a place to turn when you need our support.
The NPPA Committee structure was revised in January 2010. Each of the permanent standing committees has a chair and designated board liaison (which roles may be filled by the same person, or by different people, as appropriate) and a member of the NPPA staff, who serves ex officio.
The President appoints the chairs of Standing Committees. Chair and Committee service terms are not limited but may be changed at the will of the President. Standing Committees will meet twice annually, in person or by phone. All committees are required to report to the Board (in writing) and other committees after each meeting. When a quorum of the members are together in person or by phone discussing committee business, a meeting is taking place. The minutes shall be recorded and submitted to the Board.
