Board of Directors

There are 15 members of the Board of Directors: six officers who make up the Executive Committee, six Elected Directors, and three Appointed Directors. All Directors serve at-large, and thus they represent the entire NPPA membership.

Elected Directors serve three-year terms. Appointed Directors serve at the pleasure of the President. The current Board structure was passed June 9, 2009, and took effect January 1st, 2010.

Recent meetings

  1. The 2012 annual meeting was held January 21–22 in Durham.
  2. The Board of Directors held its summer 2011 meeting July 16–17 by conference call.
  3. The 2011 annual meeting was held January 14–16, 2011 in Durham. The minutes of the January 2011 meeting were approved at the July meeting, and have now been posted.
  4. A special meeting was held by conference call on September 30, 2010.
  5. The 2010 mid-year meeting was held July 8, at Convergence '10 in Charleston SC.
  6. The 2010 annual meeting was held January 16–17, in Durham.

Michael P. King was elected National Secretary at the 2012 Annual Board Meeting on January 22nd, 2012. His seat on the board has been filled by Jim Michalowski, based on the results of the 2011 Board election.
