2010 Board Meeting

The NPPA Board of Directors will conduct their annual meeting January 16 - 17 in Durham, NC.

Resolutions

The following resolutions will be considered. They were approved on December 31 by Clyde Meuller, Resolutions Chair.

proposed amendments to the Bylaws

• update rules governing the Board of Directors
• update parliamentary authority for Board meetings
• reestablish position of Student Representative on the Board

• revise list of Standing Committees
• restore Advocacy Committee to Standing Committees

• define guidelines for Judiciary Committee proceedings
• define "Members in good standing"

• (5 amendments from Todd Maisel on various topics)

proposed amendments to the Policies & Procedures

• revise duties of the Board and Officers
• revise process of election of the Elected Board Members
• rename Program Committee to Education Committee

Staff/Board directive

• revise Subcomittee structure

Budget

The 2010 Budget Proposal will be posted soon.
